International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa

Welcome to International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa. IHRO-AFRICA is an International Civil Society Organization registered, with International headquarters in Kenya East Africa. To collaborate with African governments to support the African Charter, which was unanimously adopted at the OAU meeting of African Heads of state and government held in Kenya on 27 June 1981. Indeed, the Charter lists the rights and duties that should be respected at all times according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR): adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948 at the Palais. de Chaillot, Paris. This declaration provides full protection to all people against all forms of injustice and violation of human rights. The International Human Rights Observatory IHRO Africa seeks to engage with African governments and civil society organizations for project implementation and good Governance. We focus on regional and national economic development goals for a better Africa that we propose to see, which will benefit the most vulnerable through our technical support in human rights campaign such as health, education, support, arts, culture and science. Participation in government, right to asylum, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and religion, justice, liberty, torture and ill-treatment, equality, peace and security. International Human Rights Observatory (IHRO) Africa has its Objectives at the grassroots level through Camps, Conferences, Seminars, Conversations, Cultural Programmes and Women Empowerment in rural areas.
